Description
Started work on 27th of April 2011 on the removal of approximately 2800 Lm of Asbestos Cement pipes of various diameters and Amosite pipe Lagging. The removal was conducted under “full decontamination conditions”, with operatives wearing full-face powered-pressure respirators inside enclosures and 3 stage airlocks. Air Testing was conducted to each different area of the building and the area safely handed back to the client on 11th of June of 2011. The Asbestos waste was placed in ISO Containers and sent to Dhali Goverment Temporary Storage Area, until final disposal to Amiantos Old Mine.
