Contract No DE35/8077 Provision of Service Families Accommodation (2009-2012)

Description

The project included the demolition of 286 Cawood Houses, Single Living Accommodation, and Married Quarters. The works were divided into 7 Phases and carried out under the supervision of Gifford & Kalisperas. M&R Asbestos Co Ltd has surveyed and removed all Asbestos Containing Materials including Cement Water Tanks, Lofts Debris, Bitumen Roofing Felts, Bitumen Roof Membranes, Amosite Firebreaks, Cement Walls, Amosite Panels, Cement Corrugated Sheets, Cement Gutters and Downpipes. The Asbestos works started in 2008 and completed in 2012. All waste was packed into ISO containers and transhipped the UK, under different containers.
