The Oval Loft Clearance

Description

The scope of work was to remove Asbestos Insulation Boards used as Fire breaks and Asbestos Contaminated Debris inside the lofts of 48 Quarters at The Oval at Akrotiri British Military Base. Due to the type and condition of the ACMs contained in these quarters the removal was conducted under full Asbestos Licensing Regulations, with operatives wearing full-face powered-pressure respirators inside enclosures and 3 stage airlocks. Duration of works took 3 months. The Asbestos waste was transhipped to UK under a different contract.
